The Future Concern is an independent research and media studio studying the history of imagined futures — the stories, technologies, myths, corporations, and political dreams that taught people what tomorrow was supposed to look like.
Part archive, part laboratory, part time machine.
Why Kevin. Why this. Why now.
The Future Concern is created by Kevin Allgood, a television producer and researcher obsessed with the stories people tell about tomorrow. After two decades shaping unscripted television, documentary, and historical storytelling, he built the Concern to investigate the futures we inherited, the futures we were sold, and the futures still up for grabs.
The future is not inevitable; it's constructed, contested, and up for grabs. The future has always been someone's business. Now it's ours.
